The Community Project Team at Mary Seacole Housing Association is dedicated to supporting individuals across Bedfordshire through innovative and impactful community projects. The team works to challenge perceptions, break down barriers, and create lasting change by engaging with diverse communities and delivering initiatives that promote inclusion, awareness, and support.

Through a range of projects, the team:

  • Supports Vulnerable Individuals – Providing guidance, resources, and opportunities to help people build confidence, resilience, and independence.
  • Delivers Community-Based Initiatives – Running projects that address key social issues, such as migration, health and well-being, hate crime awareness, and cultural heritage.
  • Challenges Negative Perceptions – Raising awareness about important social topics, fostering understanding, and creating a more inclusive community.
  • Creates Positive Change – Empowering individuals, educating young people, and strengthening community cohesion through workshops, storytelling sessions, and digital engagement.

By working collaboratively with local partners, schools, and organisations, the team ensures that its work has a meaningful and lasting impact on the communities it serves.
